2025 Playoff Results
Lots of surprises in playoffs this year.
In the Majors, the Reds, who finished in last place in the regular season, rolled thru 4 straight wins to take the Major playoffs. They beat the #4 Blue Jays, #1 Royals, #3 Diamondbacks, and finished with a 6-2 win over the Royals again in the championship game.
In Minor A, the #3 seed Astros rolled to the title, beating the #6 Rockies, the #2 Phillies, and #4 Angels 5-0 in the championship game. The biggest shocker was the #8 Pirates upsetting the #1 Rays on the first night of the tournament.
In Minor B, the Diamondbacks, who finished the regular season in 4th place in the tougher West division, won the title in dramatic fashion, beating the Dodgers 13-12 in the championship. The Diamondbacks reached the championship game by beating the Tigers, the #1 Phillies, and the Rockies. Like in the regular season, the west division dominated the east division in the playoffs, sweeping all 5 east vs west games.
