Our Complex

Pike Creek has multiple facilities spread over the area.

Pike Creek Little League complex is located behind Forest Oak Elementary School and the Western Family YMCA.  The league consolidated on this site in the early 1980s.  There are five fields plus two batting cages, and a large storage building.

Tirrell Field - named after Midway founder and long-time volunteer and director, John Tirrell.  This lighted field features a 90' diamond and is used by the Junior and Senior Divisions.  It includes a small, two-story press box and storage building.  Many Junior and Senior state tournament games have been played on this field over the years.  Lights were installed in 1992.
Agnew Field - named after longtime Midway Major Orioles manager Jack Agnew.  This lighted field has a 60' diamond and is primarily used by the Major Division.  But all 12 and under teams get to play at least one game under the lights on this field.  Behind home plate is the two-story building that houses the concession stand and the clubhouse/meeting room/press box.  In 1998 and 2001, this field hosted the Major State Tournament.  Lights were installed in 1995.
Minor A Field - This field was lighted in 2012, has a 60' diamond, and is primarily used by the Minor A division.
Minor B Field - This field with a 60' diamond is located on YMCA property and is primarily used by the Minor B division.
Walker Field - This field on YMCA property is home to the T-Ball Division.  It is named after long-time Midway volunteer Dallas Walker, who along with Jack Agnew, did most of the work to build this field.

The concession stand is named Jerry's Dugout, after long-time Midway volunteer Jerry Swarter.  Jerry was on the Board of Directors as Player Agent for over 20 years, and was a leader of the Auxiliary and a regular volunteer in the concession stand for over 30 years.

The following Pike Creek LL fields were formerly a part of Capitol LL:
Catalina Field -  Located at 2111 Newport Gap Pike, Wilmington, DE 19808 in Greenbank Park near Prices Corner, this was the home of the Capitol Major Division.  It is named after a former Captiol President from the 80s.   This field also has a batting cage and a concession stand/clubhouse building.  There is also a county field up the hill from Catalina that is used for practices.
Brandywine Springs School fields - Vaught Field and Pyle Field are located behind Brandywine Springs School.  Named after former Capitol volunteers, these fields are primarily used for practices and some games.

Wood Creek field - located at the entrance of Wood Creek development off Limestone Rd., it is primarily used for T-Ball and practices.
