To play with Pike Creek Little League in the Spring 2026 season, each player must be eligible under
one of the pathways below. These steps are listed in the order we recommend you try them.
Most families will become eligible under Steps 1–3.
If you are unsure which step applies to you, please contact the Player Agent at
[email protected] before registering.
Step 1 — You may already be eligible (no action required)
If we already have any of the documents below on file, and your situation has not changed, your player
is already eligible and you do not need to submit new paperwork:
-
A signed School Enrollment Form for your player's current school.
-
A signed Regulation II(d) waiver. This applies if:
- Your family moved after previously being eligible by residency or school, or
- Your player has a sibling who is eligible (by residency or school) and is registered with PCLL.
-
A signed Tournament Player Verification (TPV) form.
Note: If your family previously used residency documents (without a TPV or II(d) waiver), you must
submit new residency proofs each year unless a II(d) waiver now applies.
Step 2 — First-time Little League players age 7 or younger
If your player is League Age 7 or younger and has never played in any Little League before,
your family may choose any Little League you prefer for their first season — including Pike Creek.
Step 3 — School-based eligibility (preferred)
If your child attends a school located inside the Pike Creek Little League boundary, they are eligible to play for PCLL —
even if your home address is outside the boundary.
Schools inside the PCLL boundary include:
- Baltz Elementary School
- Brandywine Springs School
- Cooke Elementary School
- Forest Oak Elementary School
- Gateway Charter School
- HB DuPont Middle School
- Heritage Elementary School
- The Hockessin Montessori School
- The Independence School
- The John Dickinson School
- Linden Hill Elementary School
- Marbrook Elementary School
- McKean High School
- Mote Elementary School
- North Star Elementary School
- Sanford
- Skyline Middle School
- St. John the Beloved
- St. Mark’s High School
- Wilmington Christian School
To use this method, submit a Little League School Enrollment Form, signed by a school administrator.
Your child must have been enrolled at that school prior to October 1, 2025.

Step 4 — Residency-based eligibility
If school-based eligibility does not apply, players may qualify based on their home address.
Families must provide three residency documents, each from a different document group (Groups 1, 2, and 3).
The most common documents we receive are:
- Group 1: Parent/guardian driver’s license
- Group 2: Tax bill or sewer bill
- Group 3: Utility bill (electric, gas, water, cable, etc.)
All residency documents must be dated or in force between February 1, 2025 and February 1, 2026.

Step 5 — Regulation II(d) waiver
If your player cannot qualify by school or residency, they may still be eligible through a
Regulation II(d) waiver. This applies when:
- Your family previously lived inside the PCLL boundary or attended an eligible school, but later moved, or
- Your child has a sibling who is eligible and registered with PCLL.
The II(d) waiver keeps families together and keeps players with their long-time league when they move.
Please let us know if you intend to use this method, so we can prepare the paperwork and secure the required signatures.
Step 6 — Special waiver (last resort)
If none of the above steps apply, a family may request a special hardship waiver. These waivers require
approval from:
- Both league boards
- The Little League district staff
- The Little League regional office
Special waivers also require a letter from the parent or guardian with the detailed circumstances of the request.
These waivers take time to process, are not guaranteed, and often result in the player being
ineligible for All-Stars for one season.
If you believe a special waiver may be needed, please contact the Player Agent early in the registration process.
Eligibility documents may be uploaded during registration or emailed to
