Annual Equipment Drive for Pitch In for Baseball Softball

Newark, DE – [01.19.2022] Do you have extra youth baseball and softball equipment lying around your house, going unused? Or do you want to help children in underserved communities around the world get the equipment they need to play ball? Then donate your new and gently-used baseball and softball equipment to Midway Little League which is partnering with Pitch In For Baseball & Softball to help underserved communities get the gear they need to start or expand their baseball and softball programs.

“Getting local organizations to run equipment drives is the key to the success of Pitch In For Baseball, Softball” says Meredith Kim, COO. “We’re ecstatic that Midway Little League has stepped up to the plate for the second year in a row and is helping us out.”

We will be collecting gently used baseball and softball equipment through opening day, April 9, 2022 at Midway Little League Clubhouse. There will be donation boxes on site during in person document drop off dates or please reach out to Ted Bojarski for more details.

Pitch In For Baseball and Softball® (PIFBS) is a registered 501(c)(3) not for profit organization that helps give the gift of play and contributes to positive youth development by providing equipment to children around the world. PIFBS reduces barriers to play and promotes youth development by providing equipment directly to leagues, schools, and organizations around the world to start, continue, and/or expand their programs. Over the past decade, Pitch In For Baseball & Softball has donated more than $9 million worth of equipment to 800,000 + kids in every state in the U.S. and 100 countries internationally.
