Rays Sweep 3 of 4 Minor Titles

The Rays won both the regular season and the playoffs in Minor A. And the Rays won the playoffs in Minor B, but finished 2nd to the Brewers in the regular season.
In Minor A, the Rays won the regular season with a 11-4 record, a game ahead of the second-place Reds. In the first round of the playoffs, the #5 Giants beat the #4 Brewers and the #3 Phillies beat the #6 Orioles. In the semis, the Phillies upset the #2 Reds 10-7, while the Rays beat the Giants 5-4. In the championship game, the Rays edged the Phillies 9-8.
In Minor B, where records and scores were kept for the first time in league history, the Brewers won the regular season with a 9-2-1 record, edging out the 8-3-1 Rays. Both teams won twice to reach the championship game where the Rays prevailed 13-12. The Braves beat the Reds 12-4 in the 3rd place game. 6 of the 9 elimination games in the tournament were decided by one run.
